I feel slightly betrayed by George Washington Carver, I always thought he invented peanut butter but it was actually the Kellogg brothers. Oh well. *eats PB hershey kiss*

Edit: Grease is on vh1 right now. I don't think I've seen it since I was a tween and didn't know what highschoolers actually looked like. Watching it now, it's great how obvious it is that these actors are NOT teenagers, lol.

I know, really! I'm pretty sure I learned that in like 3rd grade, but nope. Apparently he invented everything to do with peanuts besides peanut butter, go figure.

i think i learned it like 3rd grade too... but i know we talked about carver and peanut butter last year in Biology and stuff.

..how can you even think about peanuts without thinking about peanut butter.... Perhaps this Carver character wasnt all hes cracked up to be.

Grease is hilarious. I can never understand if it's a parody or of they were all serious cause it just looks so completely ridiculous!

Haha me neither, the writers were probably like "A peppy highschool musical extravaganza! Brilliant!!" ...well it sounded good at the time. :P

Hmm at imdb.com it has a 6.8 rating which makes it seem like people were pretty equally divided about it. Who knows though, at least movies have slightly improved since the 70's.
