Noooooooooooooooooooo. The epic ahjumma perm is DEAD! now that Choi Jin Shil's character got a makeover. I shall mourn it forevermore and think fondly of it whenever I have a bad hair day. It was truly the one Ahjumma perm to rule them all.

ETA: Seriously, I think she looked better with the perm. Sure, she looks slick and ballin' now, but she was so cute before. Wow... I... really liked it.

As you may have guessed, [as I've mentioned it several times], I've been working on a werewolf handbook much like the one I did for zombies. It's been taking much of time as of late, so I've been a bit remiss when it comes to email lately. Likewise I haven't been posting updates here as often as I would like, but there simply isn't much time for frivolity, except for the occasional post on
Facebook or Twitter. With that said, if you'd like to keep up on what I'm up to, take a peek over there on occasion if you so fancy.

I have been receiving quite a few emails from readers who enjoyed my novel Fairest of All. I always love hearing from my readers and it's especially welcome when I am in the middle of a stressful deadline because it breaks things up and reminds me of one the many reasons I enjoy my work so well. I wish I had the time to write you all back personally, but please know how much I appreciate the thoughtful, heartfelt letters that have been coming in. Thank you.

I am enjoying writing this werewolf book, and I am eagerly awaiting the completion of Zombie. I will be sure to post release dates when the time comes. I'm sure there are many of you who know young teens who will love these books, and you might even possibly get some enjoyment out of them yourself!

I can't find my keys, I have a hangover, and there is no tylenol ANYWHERE in this house! but none of those things matter.

Why?

Because the heroine of Last Scandal just got ACCIDENTAL VAGINAL REDUCTION SURGERY. Amazing.

It seems like whenever I go to a party, I end up cooking. I don't even cook! It's sad, really.

Oh my god. I have no words for the beauty that is the "fight" that takes place after the heroine sees her daughter skipping school to stalk the superstar celeb hero. Amazing. You know what else is amazing? Choi Jin Shil's ahjumma perm. OH MY GOD. It is 1000x worse than Kim Sun Ah's ahjumma haircut in the first half of City Hall. (And I didn't think hers was all that bad to begin with, just that it made her look frumpy.)

I am going to watch the pilot for Brilliant Legacy and You're Beautiful after this, and decide which one I will continue with. I also considered Sons of Sol Pharmacy but that one is waaaaay too long.

I feel so spoiled by CH; it was too good. Every other kdrama I try seems to be missing something in comparison. I'm starting to think it's partly because I really, really like the vibe Kim Sun Ah brings to her dramas; there's something so comforting and feel-good about her and I just don't get that feeling with other actresses. Earlier tonight I tried to bait my mom about it by telling her the lead actor (Cha Seung Won) is AMAZINGLY GOOD LOOKING and she pretended disinterest, like she watches kdramas for the deep and meaningful plots. Uh huh.
